Meet the Doctors

Edward R. Pinson, DVM 

Graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. His medical philosophy combines a common sense and technologically advanced approach. Dr. Pinson is thorough and will discuss all services and recommendations with the owner.

The Pinsons both frequently volunteer for classroom presentations, support work study programs, and judge science fair projects.  They are active members of Mars Hill Baptist Church.

Debbie A. Pinson, DVM

Graduate of the University of Georgia's College of Veterinary Medicine. North Oconee Animal Hospital is a dream realized. Debbie has enjoyed collecting various Noah’s Ark figures through the years and together they have always wanted a Noah’s Ark themed animal hospital.

Dr. Debbie does not currently practice as she is a "stay at home vet." She still is an active partner on the managerial side and is always willing to consult with Dr. Ed. She prepares treats for the clients and is known for the "best chocolate chip cookies" around.

Meet Our Staff

Cammie Browning- full-time Receptionist

Cammie graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Spanish in 2008. After graduation, she moved back to her hometown of Cumming, Georgia and worked as a receptionist as an animal hospital. She recently relocated back to Athens to be with her fiancé. In her free time, Cammie enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and anything outdoors.

Emily Wallace - full-time Veterinary Assistant

Emily recently graduated from the University of Georgia.  She majored in Biological Sciences with a minor in Poultry Science and also received a certificate in Agrosecurity.  She plans to apply to the College of Veterinary Medicine at UGA this fall. She is originally from Madison, Georgia.  Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves the outdoors.  She has three children--Sam and Gypsy, her two rescued dogs, and Merlin, her rescued cat. 

Jenny Bennett - part-time Veterinary Assistant  

Jenny recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and a certificate in Agrosecurity. She plans to apply for vet school in the fall and would love to ultimately work with large animals and exotics. She grew up in Chardon, Ohio where she started showing horses and working with livestock. She spends most of her free time reading and playing with her Stephens Stock Mountain Cur, Dixie.

Ava Goggans- part-time Veterinary Assistant

Ava is a senior at Prince Avenue Christian School. She plans on attending the University of Georgia in the fall and eventually go to vet school to become a small animal veterinarian. In her free time, Ava enjoys spending time with her family and friends, riding horses, reading, and cheerleading. She has two horses, three cats, and a wonderful Golden Retriever, Jake. 

Glenna Fiddyment - part-time Veterinary Assistant

Originally from Alpharetta, Glenna moved to Athens in 2007 to attend the University of Georgia. She graduated from UGA in May 2011 with a degree in Classics. She has always had an affinity for animals and has been interested in veterinary medicine since she was young. In her free time, Glenna enjoys horseback riding, reading, and spending time with her family, friends, and two Collies – Potter and Brooke.
