ABOUT

Dr. Pinson and the staff are committed to developing a relationship with the client and patient. We strongly recommend annual wellness exams. In addition to keeping your pet current on all recommended vaccines as well as heartworm and flea preventative, annual wellness exams can identify risk factors of common diseases before clinical symptoms become apparent. Regular visits and preventative care are the best recommendations for a longer and healthier life for your pet.

timeline

Whether your pet is here for its annual visit or for a medical concern, we take the time to listen and fully examine each animal. This is crucial to providing your pet with the best care and offering treatment alternatives. If your pet has a medical condition, we assure you that it will be diagnosed with care and that you will be given any and all treatment options available.

ABOUT

We offer a full range of services from spay and neuter procedures to soft tissue and orthopedic surgical care.

Our patients are supported and monitored by a doctor and technician using a heated water mattress, IV fluid pump, isoflurane anesthetic, and a Cardell heart monitor. We are committed to the safety of your pet and encourage our “Safety and Comfort Package” with all surgeries.

The laboratory at NOAH is equipped with Abaxis and Idexx chemistry analyzers and
hematology units.

We are capable of having results in minutes
while you are present with your pet. In
addition to blood results, we run urine, fecal
and microscopic exams. Fecal parasitic exams
are done by centrifugation, a relatively new
technique, yielding far more accurate and
reliable results.

new service annoucement

North Oconee Animal Hospital is excited to now offer laser therapy as a treatment option. Laser therapy can be used to treat many conditions such as osteoarthritis, joint pain, puncture wounds, hip dysplasia, ear infections, lick granulomas, and post-surgical pain.

- Laser Therapy -

ABOUT

Laser Therapy, or “photobiomodulation”, is the use of specific wavelengths of light (red and near-infrared) to create therapeutic effects. These effects include improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation and decreased swelling. Laser Therapy has been widely utilized in Europe by physical therapists, nurses and doctors as far back as the 1970’s. Now, after FDA clearance in 2002, Laser Therapy is being used extensively in the United States.

benefitS

Laser Therapy is proven to biostimulate tissue repair and growth. The Laser accelerates wound healing and decreases inflammation, pain, and scar tissue formation. In the management of chronic pain Class IV Laser Therapy can provide dramatic results, is non-addictive and virtually free of side effects.

For more information on laser therapy, call our office to speak to one of our certified staff members at 770-725-6624.
